Leaving Budapest, then one night at Paks

The Danube does not look all that inviting....bit dirty and murky.....but the weather is so nice and warm, I had fly the "Byron Butt" and take a swim.
The water is a very refreshing 22 degrees, but the current is very strong. Actually it would have been perfect to simulate a swim across the Bay, just by stroking hard and managing to stay in the same place for about 20 minutes, but alas, my left shoulder is somewhat damaged from a recent tumble, about which, the less said, the better ( not that I can recall much) so I had to contend myself with a few laps around the marina, and a nice warm shower on deck. (Great boat this!)
Above and below, some pics Fred took as we leaving Budapest yesterday....one of many amazing bridges, and the palace. You will notice the mast and boom, wrapped in plastic and mounted on wooden cradles. Fred has been busy on the phone and internet, trying to find a crane operator near the Black Sea, in the vast Danube Delta, who can stand our mast approx 1st of July. No easy task, but he thinks he has sorted. We trust our Super Skipper.
