Still in Serbia, but now in the capital, Belgrade.

Below, leaving Novi Sad yesterday. Serbian version of Bondi, or Byron Bay. No sharks or blue bottles to worry about, but we're not too sure about the water quality, so we decided we could wait till the Med' to swim. But it is so warm, and Max had had a few drinks, so he swam regardless. And on the night before last, Grete and I had had enough food and drinks by about 11, so we staggered down the marina and retired to our cabins. I was awoken at 1am by the sound of Grete giving a somewhat shitfaced Fred, the rounds of the kitchen (galley?). Apparently he'd chosen to swim back to the boat.....perhaps because he could no longer walk too well!

So here we are, moored at restaurant Vedonica, in Belgrade....recommended in our Danube River guide book.

You can't get much more convenient restaurant parking than this! Here for two nights.

I think I'm getting the hang of the "selfy" thing!
