49 59 68N 08 16 99E Another day of speeding. Yes it feels like that after moving in real slow motion on the narrow canals in France. With no locks and going downstream …. No heaters needed anymore …. almost to warm during the night. What a lovely change. And Germany, most of the time, is far more nice from most perspectives. Only 15 km:s to go on The mighty Rhine. Means Mainz, junction for river Main. This is whine country. Some “Wineguts" around. This is the Gutenberg Museum, father of, "the very fast development of modern society” (next major step was internet). What a guy! And the blooming setting …. Sun is out. People enjoying. Clean and nice. Affordable. Taking care of their fantastic historical buildings. This is really one of the nicest countries in the world. And they deserve it. |
