We stayed In Boat Lagoon Marina for a month, 14 Dec 2021 to 14 Jan 2022, after a week of quarantine.
Phuket had much more to offer than we thought, ... but you need a car to get around the island.
Plenty of nice beaches and clear water. And Thai food is just excellent (and you can afford it). We will miss it.
Thai people being Buddhist are very gentle, friendly and polite. It's hard not to be charmed by them.
