Krems - Danube running at crazy speed

We leave Donauhafen Emmersdorf on the right side of the sandbank! Felt so much better than yesterday.
Today only 35 km to Krems, MYC Wachau, NO LOCKS! Is it really so? I can't remember a day without locks but I don't complain.
River Donau is like an angry snake, we are strugling in the many curves and the current in 12 km/ h and we are doing 23km/h (new record high), quite scarring and when meeting the cruise ships we are rock and rolling and checking that the mast and boom are ok.
Just before Wachau we realised that we had to take down the radar mast again!! There is a small brigde at the entrence, 4,5 m, and we have learned our lessons! It was quite a challange to get into the marina but Fred managed with full throttle.
There was need for a Gammel Dansk afterwards, to get the nerves at normal level again.
