47 Knots of scary wind, rain and hail! - Just incredible!

After leaving Old Harbour, 4 Nm away, we are approaching Levent Marina.
VHF; We need shelter. How long and which depth? 14 m and 1,4 m. OK come in.
What a relief, and boat from the Marina came out and guided us into the marina.
Guess if we where relieved.
Short after the wind totally changed direction, very strong wind, more lines out, and then the
rain started to poor down, then hail and then 47 Knots of wind plus thunder.
Being in the Old Harbour would have been a disaster. And here we felt completely safe.
Some times it feels that some one is watching over you.
Scary odd clouds.
