Breakfast, as usual, nice French bread from the local Boulangerie.
Weather forecast says sun.
We will be ready to start this day journey at 9. Locks opens at that time. Closes at 18. To late for us. We Wan to be moored about 16 when the sunshine is still warming.
Countryside is more interesting at this point and “the canal” more fitted in to the landscape.

This is our VNF friend (following us the whole day, raising bridges, preparing locks …). Dealing with Max, because he knows someFrench.
No clue what they agreed apone.
He deserved a bottle of nice wine … He was happy, so was we.

We are getting there. Enjoying the trip. Still hard labour.
All of us will sleep like logs.
