Built 1088 AD. Called "the monastery of a single wall".
It has been built in the hollow of a vertical rock, at the precipice ofMount Prophetis Elias.
We where the first visitors this morning. It's really an unique experience.
There is close to 100 rooms.

The amazing view over the Deep Blue Sea.
It is an all-male Monastery.
You where offered water, sweets and house made liquor.
