Tomorrow we will finally leave Australia!

After arriving here in Darwin we have been preparing for ”take of” to Indonesia.
Raymond Lesmana is our agent in Indonesia, he has prepared everything for our visa and VD, (vessel deklaration) and today we got it via mail.
But Ray is a bit confused? He wrote a lot of incorrect information on our papers but in the end it will be correct, at least we hope so!
We are sailing to Kupang on the island Timor, 420 NM, and there we have Matthew, another agent, to help us with all the formalities to clear in to Indo!!

Anyway, we are on our way again to new adventures. Feels so good. And we are not the only ones sailing to Indo. We are now a small group,” Darwin to Indo 2021”, it is a small group of six yachts. Peach SE, Nadine SE, Moody Finn SUOMI, Black Duck DK/US, Bojangles AUS, Sans Peur SE/DK.
Two left today, three will leave tomorrow and one will leave Friday.
So in Kupang we will have a great happy welcome meeting in Tony’s Bar hopefully.
The winds are not kind to us but we hope for the best. Everybody have fuel up before departure.

It feels so good to leave Australia now. We have been here for almost two years and it is time to start our sailing back to The Med, our home!
Covid-19 has been very speciel here in AUS??!!
We enjoyed our visit to Melbourne, meeting our little new grandson, Elton, and beeing with the family for some months. In Sydney we also had a fantastic time with the M-family during Easter.
In Townsville we met Sue and Craig, dear old friends from the Atacama dessert.
In Scarborough Marina we met a lot of nice sailors.

Tomorrow at first light we lift the anchor and Good Bye Australia👍

Arriving at Bundaberg 16 Oct - 2019.
Departure Darwin 30 Sept - 2021
85 stops, 5974 NM
