It's time to leave Makkum and we have been out testing Sans Peur.
Turning around with and without the hydraulic keel down or up.
Trying out the performance closing near to a jetty narrow passages turning around and mooring.
We know (our pro neighbour Pieter, tug boat owner, as said, tried her out) that she performes well.
But she needs a trained captain as well. That guy is is probably at first level at the moment.
Getting a bit better every day. Sailing and anchoring, fine. Handling the boat in harbour areas was a no no for someone else than the owner/capain when sailing with our three experienced Swedish skippers.
Life needs new challenges. This is one of them. Like starting to use your bike, but on the other hand how hard can it be!?

This week or at the end of this month (means August) Sans Peur will leave Makkum.
Crossing IJselmeer heading for Enkhiuzen, probably 5 hours.
Are we prepared, yes yes yes .... Sans Peur, the perfect ship for any challenge, better equipment then ever.
Time for new experiences and encounters.

Without Fear (Sans Peur), ready and eager
