This is where the winter Olympics took place 1984.
At that time this was Yugoslavia and Tito was ruling.
Cold War and Soviet Union was still around.
During the communist era religions was banned.
This is how Sarajevo looks today. This is the old historical town. Feels like being in Middle East.
Much much colder though. In shorts and flip flops, 10 degrees, rain ... miserable.
The hot shower saved us.
Our plan was to visit Kosovo and Skopje also but we found out it would be more of the same kind.
Change of plans.
