S/Y Capnum in Makkum!

We think they vanted to stay for some hours but suddenly the rain start to pouring down together with a lot of wind. So after a late lunch at Sans Peur we continued with a little BBQ and they stayed for the night.
Sunday morning we joined Capnum out to Ijselmeer. Our "Jungfruresa", Sans Peur and just the two of us. Fred did very good. So many boats, it's like a Autostrada out there, crazy........ And everybody do exact what he/she wants, seems theres no rules, BIG is first and best.
Quite a lot of wind out there and without the mast and no keel we went really "rock and roll", I had to save the Mac and a lots of other things. I din't like the sound from our wineglases. Whao, it was really gungung..... We turned around and went back to "safe haven".
We did a quite good mooring at our place, we need to practise a lot, but nice and slowly we made it without any problems. You always have a big audiense and that don't make it easier.
It was a good start and it felt good to be out there together with other sailors and so many boats saluting us because we are flying the Danish flag, otherwise there are only Dutch and Germans.
Because of this lazy week end we had to do something in the afternoon so we lubricated the furlers and cleaned the mast and sprayed everything with anti spider spray. Good on us and next week we will wrap the mast (at least I hope so).
Now it's movie time, next part of "Game of thrones" and then good night......
