We are presently in the airport in KL awaiting our return flight to
Langkawi. All went smoothly with our getting the Visas for our 20 day China
trip in June....but no chance of getting a multiple entry visa until we have
visited the country twice using single entry visas. The China visa/consul
services required us to pick up the Visas in person (and the return to us of
our Canadian Passports). This made it necessary to choose between foregoing
our non-refundable return flight and make new travel arrangements to get
back home....and purchase additional hotel night...or pay a premium for
expedited service and have the visas ready for today and stay with our
original travel bookings. This is the option we chose as it was going to
cost more to rebook travel than pay the 340 Ringets(us$115) for the fast
service.
That's all for our update.
Cheers from the crew of Sea Mist....now fast becoming more like landlubbers
than sailors....
