Strong winds (30 - 35 kts) and heavy sea state led us to the western shores of Guadaloupe when we left Les Saints….a wiser move than beating head on into those conditions trying to follow our original plan of going to Marie Galant. We may pick up a visit to Marie Galant next winter when we come back through the Caribbean on our way to the Panama. For now we continue northward….but first a stop to visit the Cousteau National Park….and exceptional underwater site.
