After a rough night with a swell coming through the anchorage last night, we moved westward another 43 nm today and anchored in the most sheltered lagoon you might find...a small channel through the coral reefs leads you into this totally protected small lagoon with about 3 meters of depth under our keel. The write-ups say there is room for 5-6 boats....well there are 4 of us (Destiny/Imagine/Renegade/Sea Mist) and we have pretty much taken up the available space. We are all close enough to speak to each other without using the VHF. This is NOT a spot for swimming/snorkeling; the small island beside has mangroves for its shoreline....perfect crocodile habitate but hopefully no crocs in this area....although Lonely Planet says there are?? The invite from Imagine for dinner on-board will see us all over there with Stuart and Shelia tomorrow evening...all of us are looking forward to that....it is such a pleasure to be anchored in totally flat calm water!!
