First of all….let’s do a time check  we put our clocks BACK an hour on arrival here…we have moved that far west since entering Indonesia > we are now on Jakarta Time Zone which is UTC +7….which means that we are currently 11 hours AHEAD of Toronto/New York.

We arrived at the anchorage at approximately9:30 am –local time…after a nice passage…over 60%  of the distance without motor!!

We have 2 “off” days as we don’t depart until Saturday – early morning – to go out in the jungle and find orangutans.

There are about 20 other rally boats at anchor here in the river; most of those crews are currently away on their tours.

Must get some sleep now….will write more over coming days.
