Arrived here to drop anchor at 5:15 pm after sailing all of the 58 nm except for about 2 hours in the morning when it was necessary to motor sail.

An early night this evening….need to catch up on sleep.

Just S/V Imagine and Sea Mist in this anchorage. S/V Y Knot and Kilkea continued onward another 3 miles to anchor where some 7 or 8 other yachts are anchored. They are going to remain here tomorrow for some land experiences while Stuart and Dale of Imagine and us continue northward to Cape Grenville.

NOTE: That location ( 12 35.67 S  143 24.27 E) should be a better anchorage than where we are >..IF..>> there was a sea state rolling. Tonight, no issue being here as it is calm and wind is less than 10 kts in the anchorage here.

We got a nice surprise about 3 pm this afternoon when we rounded Cape Direction and picked up an internet signal….oh for the modern conveniences of luxuries like being able to communicate!!
