Got through 30 hours without any need to touch sail configuration…but, in
last hour, wind has increased to 27 – 30 kts and now both sails are reefed
but still wing-on-wing at 9 kts of SOG. All well on board. Made contact
with cruisers net this morning where about 20 boats checked in. Of the
boats checking in, we were last to leave and we are running the
fastest/most direct route to Caribe from Canaries. DTG 2015 Cheryl is
guaranteeing Turkey dinner on the 25th and Ian is guaranteeing St Lucia
arrival on the 22nd. The captain isn’t guaranteeing anything.
