Just a brief update to say that we are moving well under sail with sailable wind behind us since late yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. Last 24 hours have been pleasant for seas and overall weather compared to a very rough time overnite Wednesday and into the first hours of yesterday with rough washing machine, confused, seas, heavy rain squalls and whatever else could be thrown our way.

Nighttime temps are around 70 F and daytime high is around 80 F ….the same as the temperature of the ocean at 80.3 F (27 C)

Have had excellent SSB/HF Radio contact with the Maritime Mobile Services Net  (14300 Khz) and have checked in there each day with Sea Mist’s position and a little chat.

A few unexpected challenges with boat/technology have arisen that have taken considerable attention…but taken care of….and bottom line is… all’s well.
