Title: Great Sailing conditions....but quite ROUGH!...most of the time....well all the time according to the Admiral

26 32.2 69 43.08 W

Strong steady wind out of the North East has kept us moving right on our lay line to St Thomas….no need for burning any fuel….broke through the 200 nm in a 24 hour period today so no complaints on passage progress.

Now it is a bit of a different story when it comes to crew comforts…NOT!  With strong winds usually around 25 kts on the beam, we are managing heel to less than 13 degrees but the constant strong swells make it very difficult to move around  the boat. You just have to find a spot that works and ‘park” yourself there….and take a lot of care when you do have to move. All of us are fine….no bruises, etc but definitely not “a pleasure”.  This passage would best be described in the reverse of the usual comment: IT IS ALL ABOUT THE DESTINATION …NOT THE JOURNEY

Otherwise….a wonderful time is being had by all….ha ha!
