Continued our walk along the cobbled path to the viewpoint overlooking the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Boat, reflecting on the number of pilgrims over the centuries who have done thus.

This was taken from the A Ferida, another tribute to the volunteers in the clean up of the Prestige oil spill.

It is made of granite, is 11 metres high and weighs 400 tons, the largest sculpture in Galicia and Spain. The crack allegedly commemorates the environmental catastrophe.
