F’s first job was to check batteries - very surprisingly had retained their charge.
A’s first job was laundry after serious altercation with a glass of red wine- not her fault!. A blessing really, as batteries were reinstalled and connected during the process. Note to self, should do more laundry to escape other jobs!
Wind generator released and solar panels connected and we have light.
What a relief rather than working in the blue light from the wrap. Lunch again very odd, 2 salads, noodle and bean both looked black. Severely detracts from the culinary experience.

Beginning to come across mouldy items where ventilation poor. Not many, so far, but all need to be treated or binned.
Hydraulics checked, anchor windlass, water tanks all good. Hand held radio still fully charged. Wow. Guess what, Wi-fi not playing ball.
F’s winter 2019 project had been to take apart 22 curtains and blinds to replace the blackout linings which had all perished in the sun. Most had curtain tape top and bottom. And tabs for tying back, so a very arduous and precise job, suited to a man with an industrial sewing machine and patience.
Guess what, A’s job is to fit them. 15 down, 7 to go. Blinds easy, but fiddly shaped curtains, hooks top and bottom a real pain.
