Shelburne Harbor 43:45.2N 65:19.2W
Started off sailing gently in light winds, but suddenly became much more lively, making 7 1/2 knots at times. The real plus was the flat sea - no swell! A cracking sail, one of the best in a long time.
Sailed past a derelict house on a rocky outcrop - would like to find out more.

Approached the entrance to Shelburne Harbour, put in several tacks but had to admit defeat, making so little forward progress, so engine on.
Several fishing boats were leaving as we were arriving. They all have their own mini vessel at the stern. Must find out more.

Shelburne is said by many to be the third-finest harbour in the world (after Sydney, Australia and Havana, Cuba). We shall see... now on a buoy at The Yacht Club, which is working out of a portakabin due to a fire. Have spotted another red ensign nearby - first in a very long time!
