Yesterday, F had an unwelcome trip to the dentist, he’d managed to break part of a tooth. Treatment from old style dentist was very thorough, so hopefully it did the trick.
Another trip to The Binnacle in Halifax for miscellaneous electrical items followed by a nostalgic lunch at Armdale Yacht Club,  where the boat weathered Hurricane Dorian, while we were in the UK.
Today was a busy day in the boatyard. The final fourth coat of epoxy was put on followed by one of antifouling, the trick here is to apply this while the epoxy was still tacky - this ensures a good bond.  At last! We now have a black bottom again. image1.jpeg
A spent most of the day scraping and sanding the base plate for the wind generator. The orbital sander is,of course, at home.

Almost there!
Meanwhile, F was in his gnome position in the cockpit locker feeding cables through for the new electronics.

Our canvas maker arrived with the new sprayhood which we duly fitted. Very smart and well made. Sadly we had to take it off before I took a pic, couldn’t risk it being damaged when the riggers fit the boom.
