Worst Airbnb ever!

Apologies for lack of blogs, both been floored by Covid, certainly the lingering cough and irritating wheeze/crackle point to it.
We made arrangements to move into Airbnb early. What a mistake! Portable air con did not cool, no fan until we requested one. No blinds/shades so unbelievably hot.
Many of listed amenities didn’t exist. The mini cockroaches in the bathroom- the final straw.
On Sunday, cut our losses and checked out Charming Blue- a very pink hotel. They have availability, so packed up and left first thing Monday morning. After many messages to and fro Airbnb have agreed a full refund. Success. ( or it will be once it’s in the bank account)
Lift out day arrived, where did the season go? F discussed how he was going to leave the berth, always in a very controlled manner with no jumping aboard at the last minute. The boatyard manager suddenly arrived saying he was coming with us to help position us in the slings of the hoist. He undid all the lines, pushed us backwards then leapt aboard ! Not quite how we normally do it.
Anyway, all good and she was lifted out without incident. Phew!
A young boat yard worker did a very good job of pressure washing the hull. The fish had been pretty efficient but on closer inspection there are a huge number of tiny barnacle seeds.
More stress, the boat was then loaded onto a hydraulic boat mover and towed by tractor round to the far side of the harbour, her final resting place for the winter.
Barely a hair’s breadth between the boats. Such skill!
