The NE and N of Antigua is surrounded by a huge coral reef, with the only safe entrance from the NW. This is a great area for snorkelling and contains a week's worth of exploration, so we will probably keep it till J&C arrive.
Back S, to Falmouth Harbour, and at anchor off Pidgeon Beach. Full of American flagged yachts which have just arrived with the first of the many rallies. This one, "Salty Dawgs", is 70+ boats from the U.S. E Coast.
Also, the Superyacht fleet is arriving in earnest, with the billionaires outdoing each other with their splendid craft. A large number of these yachts (power & sail) are only used by their owners for a couple of weeks during the serious racing weeks. However, they are available for charter. So, if you fancy a week of luxury with a full crew, chefs, manicurists, hairdressers and massage there are lots on offer from upwards of 150,000 per week. On the bright side, that's dollars not pounds and it is for 3 couples
