Painting the welded areas only started once we arrived. Really frustrating, not able to crack on as hoped, although at least had the chance to recover from jet lag.
Met up with our Sailmaker at a local restaurant for Sunday brunch. Mast and rigging should arrive very soon. Sails are on the way. Cool lighting installation in restaurant.

Revisited one of the trails for a short walk. Met a heavily armed Conservation Officer patrolling the area, checking on illegal fishing and ATV drivers with no licences. Do they shoot poachers here 🥺?

Thursday and Friday now lost to the painting. Opportunity to fix A’s bike (successful, hopefully ) so now going for a bike ride 🤞. Let’s see how the bikes have faired over the winter. Glorious sunshine and blue skies deceptive; strong northerly breeze and temperatures 10 degrees max may prove too chilly. A beer might be in order.
