Were surprised by our new neighbours!
New Yorkers had been moose hunting and had left their trophies while they had their truck fixed. They’re in adjacent interconnecting room until tomorrow. Groan. Moose heads now on back of truck, the blow flies don’t care where they are!
During the pandemic moose numbers increased and they now need to be culled, a lucrative income for the province. Licences are pricey.
Curtains and blinds now all hung. Prop removed and cleaned ready to be put back on. Good news, cutless bearing looks good for another season.
Systematically going through cupboards and spraying again with vinegar and water, to protect against mould and mildew. A few surprises, A has as new pair of oilskin trousers- completely forgotten. Brought out a new jacket, bought end 2019. What a surprise! They’ll go well together!
Finding things we didn’t know we had and perhaps don’t even need. Time for a cull on board.
