Revisited a couple of shops before setting off for The Big Spruce Brewery to meet B&J for lunch. Everyone is stocking up on wood for the winter( note to self to order logs when home)amazing free standing log pile at the brewery.
Lobster quesadillas on the menu- very tasty together with a great selection of craft beers. Great spot overlooking the lakes, see why B&J recommended it. A great farewell lunch with great company.
Set off along a well travelled Cabot Trail, harsh winters hammer the road surfaces, so a bumpy ride.
Stopped at Lake O’Law for the views
Then on to Cheticamp, too late for a walk. Room is allegedly The Honeymoon suite, certainly the biggest bed we’ve encountered and with it’s own deck. Enjoyed the evening sunshine and the view.
Had an energetic walk to the restaurant and back, further than expected but worth it. Winter definitely approaching. Nights very chilly.
