Heavy showers on Sunday. Had foresight between showers to clear decks as much as possible. Everything needs to be secure enough to withstand a hurricane while we’re back at home. (We’re not expecting one, but just in case. ) Our owner’s representative is kindly keeping an eye while she’s on one of his moorings.
Monday dawned windy and wet with torrential rain. Tried to pack and sort things out down below. Very mild but very damp.
Brief respite as we left Mahone Bay for the mooring, but it didn’t last for long Some expensive homes in this bay. Think this one has the entire island to itself.
Looking forward to some sunshine at home.
