Another casualty over the winter were my beloved sailing boots. The boots have both parted company from the sole. Attempt number one to stick them with a Bostick type adhesive failed miserably so another trip to Hamiltons needed for a heavy duty glue today
Take two!
F once rescued a damsel in distress whose sole was flapping, by tying the lace around the whole foot with his best nautical knot. He may well end up having to do the same for me!
Had a gentle short sail up to Camden this afternoon to meet Randee, Willy and of course Jenny again.
Another great meal together. The town is lovely. Hope to visit again on our return to the US.
Now shipshape, we are ready to leave early(ish) tomorrow to cross the Bay of Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Our cruising permit has expired and we need to leave the country.
We are both several pounds heavier but it has been great fun.
