Day 3 of bad weather keeping us on board. Entertained by the wing surfers whizzing past at high speed. These are riders on a board fitted with a foil while holding an inflatable wing or sail, making the most of the strong winds. It looks like the boards are floating above the water “Back to the Future” like.
As they approached the beach they would foil hop/ jump to some height, having great fun. Allegedly it’s easier to learn than wind or kite surfing. They all look very fit.
Took the opportunity to do some admin, made a call to a bank, 30 mins later, after numerous pieces of music played, 4 connections, put on hold then finally cut off. An expensive interlude. The toll free number was not - that made a dent in the bank account.
