Lovely evening and decided to go up to the Yacht Club for a beer and internet. Sadly closed all day Monday. Sat on one of their chairs, watching the world go by benefitting from wifi.
Such a calm night.

Day 2 of plumbing. New pipe work hadn’t solved the problem so, although you can change the seals it’s messy, unpleasant and hardly cheaper than a completely new pump we just had to
Install a complete new pump, which F had been resisting (“keep it as a spare!!!”). Discovered a further pipe has perished so needs replacing.

Brief respite, dinghyed up to our owner’s representative to pick up our new photo ID / mug shot plus more sanitary hose- oh dear on both counts.
Discovered yesterday that very low on gas, in fact it ran out just as kettle was boiling for morning coffee. Fortunately had small emergency can.
Only place to refill is Canadian Tire in Bridgewater or Four Jays( F’s new Bestie). Canadian Tire slightly closer, so off we went. They usually exchange steel bottles but ours is a refillable fibreglass one. Managed to hire car for 24 hours so off, by taxi, at vast expense, to pick it up. Amazed we arrived safe and sound. Hands free didn’t feature, driver constantly taking calls and accessing voicemails. Didn’t see brake lights of car in front until F shouted out.
Our first stop, Canadian Tire but even that wasn’t straightforward. Young chap had to phone his boss to clarify how to fill our unusually light tank. (Ed. They use scales like you used to see in a doctors surgery with a sliding scale and a counterweight. To fill our 10lb tank you use the 20lb counterweight not the 10lb one silly!!!????) Followed instructions and hey presto - finally full.
