Preparations continued on Monday. Took outboard off dinghy and drained oil. Took dinghy onto the deck for storage-F didn’t fit inside to clean it!

Tuesday was awful- seems to be a pattern, one good day, one bad. Torrential rain but we we did pick up our car. So stopped of at the Dollar Store looking for wellies for A. Boot soles unstickable so very sadly had to be binned. New ones on Christmas list!
Halloween decorations much in evidence.

Wellies finally bought in George at Walmart!
Haul out arranged for Wednesday. Woke up to blue skies and a flat calm. Perfect conditions for reversing the boat into the hoist. Had to remove backstays first so it would fit.
Lots of people from the club were on hand to help, it really was a group effort. People here are so friendly.
