44:13.44 N 64:21.31W Lunchtime yesterday saw us finally leave Bridgewater. An enjoyable week. Returned the hire car first thing - fortunately no more brushes with the Law- perhaps due to change of driver?
Another glorious day for pottering down the river. Went past Fort Point Museum which we had visited by car.

This historic site was The First Capital of all of New France from 1632- 1636. The museum, in the former lighthouse keeper’s dwelling, celebrates the LaHave community from the first inhabitants, the Mi’kmaq to the present day.
Meandered through narrow passages, navigated past numerous rocks between the islands at the mouth of the LaHave River. Anchored off Bell Island for the night, a beautiful calm spot, and enjoyed a wonderful sky in both directions as the sun went down.
