Cabin fever beginning to set in and therapy will soon be required. Yesterday very blowy so didn’t want to make the trip in the dinghy up to the yacht club. Would have got very wet.
Had to batten down the hatches ready for overnight wind and rain. Bimini had to be folded back, dinghy taken out of the water on davits , so it could be kept at an angle to drain. Sun awning and mosquito nets removed and hatches closed. Sure enough, true to forecast, strong winds and heavy rain arrived and peaked at about 3am. Expecting thunderstorms so all electronic devices back in the oven. This is getting tedious.
Reading the news about 4000 plus being minimum number of steps to stay healthy- barely achieved 400 in last few days. Hoping to change that today.
Had call from the diesel engine specialist, heat exchanger beyond repair so hugely expensive new part from Volvo on order. F has had to lie down in a darkened cabin to recover from the shock.
