A later start, the pace is taking its toll.
Visited the hardware store on the way to the boat to buy a few odds and ends.
F screwed all the new zinc anodes onto the hull- they need to be replaced each year but most had to be drilled first as they weren’t Ovni anodes,- time consuming!
A fitted the boom brake and the running back stays and as it was a very calm day the high cut yankee and stay sail were bent on. This was not without issues. When it came to the stay sail, A “carelessly “ jammed/ forced the halyard in the winch, which then needed to be taken apart. It must be pointed out that A was kindly doing all the winching to save F’s wrist! (Ed. Sprained while doing something silly with the drill when drilling the anodes.)
She’s almost ready for launching. Progress indeed.
