Catalina (as in cruise LINER)

Although Hurricane Lee appears to be tracking north of us, eager to make progress while we can. Decided to go to Catalina, 20 miles up the coast as, allegedly, propane bottles can be filled.
A lot of swell and gusty winds did not make for a pleasant trip (understatement)
On arrival, F was very quickly offered a whole fresh cod which came filleted , in a ziplock bag. At least 3 meals worth. Very tasty.
F wanted to use up the gas so decided to follow Renee’s example and bake bread. Bought appropriate flour and yeast, mixed and kneaded the dough in the evening. Left to prove. A woken by dough being knocked back at 1am (F afraid it would overflow) and put in baking tin. Oven on at 6! Not a restful night.
Off to hardware store to see if bottle can be filled. Can’t help but feel that should have been done before the bread making.
