Had the shed to ourselves today, very few workmen around. A in her element, cleaning off many years of sealant from the antennae bases, radar and wind generator mounts on the arch, not to mention glue from tape that used to seal openings, when all above removed for transporting the boat. Marigolds on, scraper in hand, even the Dyson at the ready!
A friend is concerned that A receiving above basic rate of pay and a negotiated hardship and hazard bonus due to the vitamin D deficiency from going from the dismal shed to basement Airbnb. (F needs counselling for resultant stress. Ed.) Sun has been so strong all workmen have sunburnt face, while air temperature cold enough for ice warning, this morning.
F worked hard at cleaning off the very old hard grease from the steering mechanism, then regressing, sorry re-greasing!! Another filthy job.
