Arrived 12:30 yesterday after 28 hours at sea. A phone call to customs and immigration half an hour before berthing, then another after we tied up resulted in two officers arriving 10 minutes later and we and the boat became legal immigrants. The quickest, easiest and most efficient clearing in process so far.
At Killam Brothers Marina, now owned by the town.But look at the size of the cleat! Think they’re used to ships tying up here!

Yarmouth is the region’s largest seaport and is the gateway for ferries from Maine.
Canada’s oldest shipping office, the Killam Brothers Building is here in Yarmouth built in the 1830s. It housed the offices of the Killam family, who led Yarmouth’s sea faring trade from 1788 until closure in 1991, when the marina was gifted to the town for $1.
