Shopped for provisions yesterday. Having to restock everything. Bought grinder with black peppercorns , as well as one with a mixture of sea salt and garlic. Thought this was worth a try as garlic salt gets damp and solid very quickly.
Proved to be a difficult start to the day. A made healthy rice and bean salad for lunch and with a final flourish of seasoning, the top came off the garlic salt and half the contents of the jar fell in and around the salad. It had to be rinsed, then soaked. Still some hard bits and we’ll see if it’s edible at lunchtime. F says it’s well brined though!
The salt had dissolved but the garlic didn’t - just as well we’re not meeting anyone today. Glorious spot for lunch listening to the waves breaking. We were in the car, far too chilly outside.
More vacuuming to access the slots for the different cables on the arch. Once again, a filthy job.
Not a look to repeat very often.
