Long Island Mahone Bay
Up early to use excellent laundry facilities in Lunenburg (very few and far between here). Felt the need to wash our lobster splattered clothes. Plastic aprons supplied in the US for stone crabs would have been the answer.
A short trip to this delightful anchorage which we have to ourselves.

Glorious sunshine and very warm so very tempted by the description of the lagoon, “warm at half tide with a sandy bottom.” Not Bahamas or Caribbean standard and rather weedy but we did spot a sea otter. F and A dipped their feet but C can say she swam in Nova Scotia. It wasn’t that warm.
Enjoyed a sundowner. Shared a crowler (= half a growler) between the three of us of the recently canned kölsch. Went down very well.

Then watched the sun disappear over the island while we had supper. It’s a hard life!
