Picked up bag of everything we need for self catering with a microwave. Stopped off at supermarket and more importantly liquor store. Received a great welcome at the motel.
Friday- had a slow start getting jobs done- it takes time to get into the zone. Sadly, since we were last here the club house had a flood. The sprinkler system froze then burst causing major water damage. Repairs will last until July. No wifi, no bar, no refuge for A when she’s had enough. No one to chat to. A draws the line at using the portaloo, so has to share the one and only gents loo.
On the plus side, weather has been lovely. Sunny and clear. Hot under cover although F has cut a few port holes for ventilation. It has even reached 20 degrees down below.
Note to self -will continue to buy yellow tomatoes as they turn red under the blue! They don’t mess with your brain.
