Visited the park next to the ferry terminal, home to The World Pavilion for Peace, conceived in 1989 by Metro Youth for Global Unity. Sadly, it is a somewhat neglected concrete building, housing a somewhat neglected display of rocks and bricks from numerous countries. The rocks represent the earth we all share and the bricks our ability to shape our future.
Back to Halifax to our third show of the Fringe, “The End of Politics”. A bit disappointing, slightly oversold American stand up. So much material to choose from, on either side of the Atlantic, but no Andy Hamilton.
Then a taxi driver with nothing to say!
