Popped head out of cockpit at 7am to take a picture, 4 degrees but beautiful sky, it was much redder in reality.

All layered up but no wind today so very pleasant, despite the cold. The gods are looking out for us.
Were alongside ahead of time ready for the hoist, Clarey and Reg came to take the lines. A very professional haul out, without incident this time.

F did his good deed for the day. A fish dropped out from the keel, he picked it up and took it back to the water to , hopefully, live for another day.

There were a lot of barnacles on the propellor and growth on the rope cutter. Never had this before, but the boat had been on Pat’s mooring for the best part of two months, we suspect that was the cause.

All blocked off, with stands too( belts and braces) decided on second breakfast/brunch at Kindens Bakery, perilously close, at the entrance to the marina. Also midway between Airbnb and boat, think we may be regulars in the next week.
Back to drain the engine oil while it was still warm. Took some time to drain 10.5 litres.
Two trips to Marina View Airbnb. It certainly lives up to its name. Relieved to be warm without dripping condensation from the hatches.
