Returned from CT yesterday in time to have a meal with a couple at the Yacht Club. A very pleasant distraction. They had been particularly helpful with recommendations for getting jobs done and had introduced us to our owner’s representative, who has been worth his weight in gold.
Wednesday dawned, had to make most of hire car. Discovered this morning that there was another leak so had to add more hose to the list. Man from car hire very kindly drove us back laden with 4 bags groceries a couple of bags of boat stuff and a new broom!
Arrived just in time for drinks with another couple who’d also been very helpful. People are so kind.
