Heavy showers most of the day. Later in the afternoon F did manage to go up the mast to fix the deck light (which “surprisingly“ took longer than necessary). After that had numb legs, from the harness, so didn’t carry on to the very top to feed in the spare halyard. For another day …
Decided to return to Canadian Tire via Waves and fish and chips. Managed the latter but no taxis available for Canadian Tire. Got our exercise walking a mile up a steep hill to Home Hardware as an alternative, only to find they closed at 6pm. Neither of us thought to check!
In desperation hired a car for tomorrow to get all outstanding jobs done. It also means we can pick up some more electronics and lines, hopefully, in Lunenburg rather than having to go back in on the boat. Time short and weather not helpful, before we return home for 2 weeks.
