Discovered that Amazon Prime idoes not always fulfil its next day delivery promise. Not surprising really, considering the size of the country and relative remoteness of Nova Scotia.
At least we could enjoy some of the Lunenburg Harbour Folk Festival. A breezy hour on one of the wharves listening to Pretty (?)Archie on Thursday

and a Trio of Duos then a Duo of Trios in the Old Opera House on Friday afternoon, each taking turns. Unusual to be on stage with other bands/ performers. The Duo of Trios complimented each other very well but the French trio Bon Débbaras from Quebec were particularly talented and fun. Nipped into Canada Post between sessions to discover that a “Jobsworth” had told the courrier to return the package as we were not known to him.
After many minutes on hold, managed to agree that the package should be held in their well known Bridgewater drop off- Dave’s Vacuum Clinic to be collected- sometime!
Have enjoyed exploring Lunenburg and look forward to returning with C when she comes out next week.
The waterfront is very attractive.
