Flores lives up to its name, very lush, no wildfires due to significant rainfall and loads of flowers. Agapanthus and hydrangeas aplenty.
Hoped to get a taxi into the capital Santa Cruz, but no luck. Instead walked up the very steep hill to a supermarket known to deliver. Glad we made the effort, everywhere was being whitewashed ready for the upcoming festival. All very peaceful and fresh looking.

Provisions were low, particularly milk but glad to have made the effort as got a real feeling for the place.
Of course, the boat is always at sea level, so inevitably a climb up, but the gradient was on another level. Even the bikes would not have coped. Now having a beer waiting for the delivery.
