Set off into Ria Vigo proper and had a lovely sail across to” Mowannia,” as it pronounced,
a small town opposite Vigo with a ferry ride to the city every hour. Had hoped to be in the marina but they are full, so happily at anchor in the bay, overlooked by Neptune.
Decided to hop on a ferry to Vigo to check out a car rental to pick C up on Wednesday and do some serious provisioning.
The Enterprise group only had vans on their system! Another company said to come in on the day and wrote our details on a business card. Not convinced they’d have one so reverted to Plan B then C. Public transport is so cheap that it makes sense to go by train.
The town has a pleasant promenade.
